Mixed-Use Housing Development

Mixed-used developments, which will include a combination of residential market rates and/or affordable, low-income housing and commercial space will be developed where the topography, demographics, and the local government and community desire mixed-use developments.

Community Health Facilities

Integral to Foremast’s Community and Economic Development Program is the construction and an instance of “Consumer-Empowered” comprehensive healthcare facilities to make healthcare affordable to all, irrespective of need, and provide all healthcare services in one location. As a result, Foremost will develop and manage Comprehensive Healthcare Facilities that will include specialty medical services, as well as behavioral health services.

Additionally, where practical, the Foremost Organization will include Federally Qualified Health. Centers (FQHCs) to ensure quality healthcare is available to all, irrespective of need. FQHCs are federally funded nonprofit health centers or clinics that serve medically underserved areas and populations. FQHC provides comprehensive services (either on-site or by arrangement with another provider), including Primary Care, Preventive health services, Dental services, Mental health, and substance abuse services, Transportation services necessary for adequate patient care, and Hospital and specialty care.

FQHCs also emphasize delivering high-quality, culturally competent, comprehensive primary care, as well as supportive services such as health education, translation, and transportation that promote access to care. Federally qualified health centers provide services regardless of the ability to pay, and services are provided on a sliding scale fee based on your ability to pay. FQHCs are funded with cash grants under the Public Health and Welfare Act and Qualify for enhanced cost-based reimbursement from Medicare and Medicaid, as well as other benefits.
